The Railjet, the ÖBB's high-speed train, runs at a speed of up to 230 km/h. The facilities meet the highest standards of service, design and comfort. Travellers can choose between Business, First and Economy classes, with free WLAN, a restaurant car, and quiet and family zones.

With the ÖBB Railjet to Salzburg

The Railjet network extends to Germany, Hungary, Italy, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and Slovakia. The Vienna-Salzburg route offers two Railjets every hour, the fastest connection being the Railjet Xpress (RJX), which runs from Vienna via St Pölten and Linz to Salzburg in only 2h 22min.
