Advent market at Salzachsee
The Advent market on the shores of the Salzachsee lake offers creative arts and crafts, organic culinary delicacies and pre-Christmas traditions in an idyllic setting.
The small Advent market in the Salzachsee-Saalachspitz nature reserve opened its doors for the first time in 2023. There are 15 market stalls selling high-quality products from the region. In addition to culinary delights and arts and crafts, visitors can look forward to a varied supporting programme:
- Krampus runs on the first three Fridays
- Pony rides for children every Saturday and Sunday
- Handicrafts for children every Saturday
- A visit from the Christ Child every Sunday
- Brass bands on Saturdays and Sundays for a festive atmosphere
