Glass craftsmanship
Glass-blowers ply their trade in the Sigmund Haffner Gasse, in the heart of the Old Town, and glass-work from all over Europe is on display.
The historic building where the Kreis family run their workshop was first mentioned in documents in 1365. In the large vaulted room, hand-blown drinking-glasses, decorative glass balls and vases have been produced and glass products refined since 1971. Individual engraving on mugs, glasses or bottles is especially popular. In addition, art-works by European artists and craftspeople are on display in the gallery.
