At Hohensalzburg Fortress, you are in for three times the enjoyment: magnificent views, a 3-course menu and a Fortress Concert with the music of Mozart!
Dine like the princes of old! The Fortress Funicular makes it easy for you to ‘conquer’ 900-year-old Hohensalzburg Fortress. The transfer service, which begins 30 minutes before dinner begins, is included in the ticket price. The 3-course meal is served in the historical setting of the fortress. Beautifully seasoned with one-of-a-kind scenery: At the panorama restaurant enthroned high above the city, Salzburg literally lies at your feet.
Dinner is followed by the culinary highlight of the evening: a Fortress Concert in the Golden Hall or the Burgsaal. Internationally acclaimed musicians from the Mozart Chamber Orchestra of Salzburg or the Salzburg Mozart Ensemble will play for you. As their names suggest, the focus of their program will be the most popular works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, though it will also include Johann Strauss, Joseph Haydn and many more.
In the mood to take the experience to even greater heights? At the VIP Dinner & Fortress Concert, in nice weather guests are able to sit out on the scenic terrace of the fortress restaurant. This will allow you to enjoy the very best views of Salzburg and the surrounding mountains during your VIP Dinner. A program booklet guides you through the Fortress Concert, while a glass of sparkling wine will be served to you during the intermission.
