6th Austrian Roller Derby Championship
Roller derby is a fast-paced, full-contact sport played on roller skates. Invented in the USA in the 1970s, it found its fan base worldwide after a revival in the 90s.
Roller derby offers its fans a thrilling spectacle of speed, agility and power. The sport combines strategy, athleticism and a touch of daring with an active social attitude.
Team sports worldwide are predominantly practiced by FINTA people (women, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people) and stand for cohesion and diversity, solidarity, empowerment, community, equality and body positivity.
