The Arkadenkultur features first-rate music and literature by local artists for you to enjoy. Every Sunday evening, you can conclude the weekend with live music and literature at the Living Room in Salzburg, Schallmoos.
This 11-piece student ensemble from Linz's Bruckner University (Institute for Jazz and Improvised Music) performs highly interesting and varied music. Mostly compositions by contemporary New York-based musicians. The programme for Arkadenkultur 2024 includes pieces by Matt Davis, Brian Blade and the LeBoeuf brothers - partly in original arrangements, partly in atmospheric versions of their own. The band's repertoire also includes original compositions by students.
