Final Concert Orchestra Week
Free concert by the Salzburg A Cappella Choir
The concert programme spans several centuries and many styles, with works by Claudio Monteverdi, Gabriel Fauré, Anton Bruckner and Ola Gjeilo, among others. In keeping with the date on which Christians celebrate Candlemas, the pieces are arranged under the common motto ‘Departure into a brighter time’. The Salzburg a cappella choir will be supported by Jiye Oh on piano and Suin Hyun on violin. Admission to the concert is free, but the choir is of course happy to accept voluntary donations.
