Finissage: The Colours of La Serenissima
Venetian masters from the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna
On the occasion of the finissage of the exhibition ‘The Colours of the Serenissima. Venetian Masterpieces from Titian to Canaletto’ on Sunday, 5 January 2025, admission to the entire DomQuartier is only € 5 for adults, concessions and young people.
Admission is free for children/students.

The Colours of La Serenissima. Venetian masters from the Kunsthistorisches Museum Vienna will focus on the fundamental developments in Venetian art from the Renaissance to the Rococo. Selected paintings will be shown, as well as examples from other genres, such as tapestries, bronzes, suits of armour and virtuoso or curios artefacts from the former imperial family's legendary cabinet of curiosities – the most outstanding of its kind in the world.
The Colours of La Serenissima is the first exclusive exhibition in Salzburg from the inventories of the former imperial collections, as well as the first exhibition produced under the direction of Andrea Stockhammer, the DomQuartier's new director.
