Holy Places – Views by Hubert Sattler
The exhibition series “Salzburg Museum – Guest Performance” begins with a presentation in North Oratory of the DomQuartier. To view the works after the closure of the Panorama Museum Salzburg the Salzburg Museum will host a show entitled “Holy Places – Views by Hubert Sattler (1817–1904)”.
The selection of works follows Hubert Sattler's travel routes and thus his personal interests. Nineteen cosmoramas from four continents are shown (Europe, Africa, South America, Asia) and for the first time drawings and sketches in situ were created.
