Monsieur Ibrahim is a solo theater performance played by Edi Jäger and based on the work of Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Directed by Hanspeter Horner, the story unfolds around an old man named Ibrahim, who is a central figure with his grocery store in the Jewish quarter of Vienna. Every day, the young Moses, who lives in difficult circumstances, seeks refuge with Ibrahim. Through their friendship, Moses discovers a new world and the secret of happiness. The performance, a collaboration between the Wald4tler Hoftheater and Theater Chronos Salzburg, addresses themes such as tolerance, compassion, and an extraordinary friendship.
