New Years Concert at the Large Festival Hall
The Grosses Festspielhaus (Large Festival Hall) is the stage for the traditional New Year's Eve concert with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.
For the turning of the year 2024/2025, the Salzburg State Theatre takes audiences to the “land where the lemons blossom”. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s poem evokes a place of longing, where golden oranges are growing and a tender wind is blowing from a blue sky. Filled with music from the Mediterranean region, which has always seemed like a promised land to Europeans north of the Alps, the programme for the New Year’s Eve Concert is guaranteed to warm up a cold winter’s night.
