Peter and the Wolf/Little Red Riding Hood
The Salzburg Marionette Theatre is a „big“ theatre with „small“ actors. For more than 100 years, the puppets have enchanted grown-ups and children alike. The visitors are taken to a magical world of opera, fairy tale, or musical.
Two wonderful fairy tales are woven into one: the musical tale of “Peter and the Wolf” by Sergej Prokofieff and “Little Red Riding Hood” by the Brothers Grimm. They have one thing in common: the scary wolf!
The Salzburg Marionette Theatre combines the two stories and found the perfect music for Riding Hood in Prokofieffs oeuvre. In an impressive way, the little girl tells a bear the adventures of Peter and the wolf - and has to find that the wolf always seems to come back …
