Special exhibition: Time travel - photography between tradition and modernity
“Time Travel” – an exciting exhibition project as part of the Capital of Culture 2024 – stops off in the city of Mozart.
The Salzkammergut, once a center of tradition and a haven of living inspiration for many artists, is now characterized by clichéd images as a backdrop for the tourism and leisure industry. The myth of Mozart, which attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors to Salzburg every year as a tourist magnet, operates in a similar area of tension.
