The traditional 5-Star-Hôtel Bristol is situated
in the centre of the festival city, between the Mirabell Gardens and Mozart's residence - only 5 minutes walking distance from the famous "Getreidegasse".
Towards the end of the 16th century, Archbishop Wolf-Dietrich planned to build a palace with gardens for his brother Rudolf Hannibal.
This is where the Hôtel Bristol and the Makartplatz are situated today.
In our restaurant "Polo Lounge", our chef and his team creates specialities varying, according to the season, from the typical Austrian and Italian kitchens in combination with an excellent selection of wine.

You take the highway-exit Salzburg Mitte.
Drive direction center, keep driving straight on until
you cross the Salzach-river bridge,
At the next traffic lights, turn right.
Then drive straight ahead, after the Mozarteum and the theater (on the left side) turn left into Makart-square and drive around this square to the "BRISTÔL".
You can park in front of the entrance,
