Exit: bus stop „Herbert von Karajan Platz“

Footpath: walk northeast to the „Restaurant Herzl vom Goldenen Hirschen“. In a few walking minutes you will reach the „Universitätsplatz“ where you need to turn right. Please walk straight ahead on the „Chursfürstenstrasse“ to the „Residenzplatz“. After the optician on your left is the Goldgasse. Walk to house number 10 and you have reached your destination.

Option 1 (quick parking, only a 5-minute walk)

Please follow the street sign „Hotelroute Grün [green]" and "Altstadtgarage B".
This instruction for arrival guarantees a quick arrival and convenient parking. About a 10-minute walk. The "Hotelroute Grün" leads you from the highway exit west (A1) over the "Innsbrucker Bundestrasse" in the direction "Neutor" [big city gate]. Right before the "Neutor" the street signs lead you in the „Altstadtgarage B“. Please choose the exit „Toskanini Hof“.
To your left you will see the festival halls. Please walk straight ahead and then turn right towards the Cathedral. At the Cathedral turn left to the "Residentplatz" and cross the square. On the other side of the square you will see the Goldgasse. Walk to house number 10 and you have reached your destination.

Option 2 (direct route to the hotel (50m), parking garage about 15 minutes away)

Please follow the street sign "Hotelroute Grün [green]" and "Hotel Goldgasse".
The "Hotelroute Grün" leads you from the highway exit west (A1) over the "Innsbrucker Bundestrasse" in the direction of "Neutor" [big city gate]. Drive through the "Neutor" and then turn left. Follow course of the street and keep to the street sign "Hotel Goldgasse". Continue on the road "Griesgasse", along the river "Salzach". Turn right on the corner of "Mozartplatz". At the bollard you can see the hotel number written next to a button. Please press the button and you will be directly connected to the reception where you get a code to enter (six numbers and a letter).
At the "Residenz Platz" you can see the beginning of the Goldgasse on your right. It is located next to the "Manner Shop". Please park your car. Walk to house number 10 and you have reached your destination (1 minute).

You can see Festival Halls on your left. Turn right and walk straigt to the Cathedral.
Turn left and cross the "Residenzplatz". To the left of the "Manner shop" you can see the beginning of the Goldgasse. Walk to house number 10 and you have reached your destination (1 minute).
