Our house was first mentioned in 1421 as "Taverne zur Römerstraße". The current owner, Dr. Georg Wallner, took over the managment of the "Römerwirt" as the hotel was then known, in 2002. Her reopened the newly renovated Hotel Via Roma**** in 2003.
Our hotel offers 30 rooms with A/C (Single Room, Double Room, One-Room- and Two-Room-Apartments).
Behind the hotel there are free parking spaces for our guests and a lovely garden for our guests.
The hotel is located in the area of Nonntal, south of the Fortress Hohensalzburg, approx. 10-15 minutes walk from the Old Town of Salzburg.

Arrival by car:
Take the Motorway Exit Salzburg Süd and head in the direction towards Salzburg Centre. Take a left towards Hellbrunn at the first traffic light and follow the road for approx. 2.5km and our hotel will be located on the right hand side.
Arrival by train:
In front of the train station take bus number 5 (direction Birkensiedlung/Kommunalfriedhof) from the platform labeled "Altstadt/Zentrum".
The exit stop is called "Wäschergasse", it takes the bus about 15 minutes to get there.
You will find our hotel on the opposite side of the street from the bus stop.
