Mozart in Concert
Experience Mozart's masterpieces at historic locations. With a duration of 45 minutes, the concerts are perfect as an introduction to the music city of Salzburg.
The court of the Prince-Archbishops was, over the centuries, the center of a diverse cultural life. Court musicians such as Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber, Georg Muffat, father and son Mozart, and Michael Haydn composed for the Prince-Archbishops.
The concerts of these musical series take place in the Romanesque Hall of the Archabbey of St. Peter, in the cloister of the Franciscan monastery, or in the Renaissance Hall of the Radisson Blue Hotel Altstadt. The focus is on music from the Salzburg court of the Prince-Archbishops, especially by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
