Since 2012, the Ouverture Spirituelle has dedicated the first days of the Salzburg Festival to the centuries-old tradition of sacred music. In addition to a thematic focus, these concerts are closely linked in content with the overall program.

Conductor Lionel Meunier leads the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra and the vocal ensemble Vox Luminis.
