Since 2012, the Ouverture Spirituelle has dedicated itself to the centuries-old tradition of sacred music in the early days of the Salzburg Festival. In addition to a thematic focus, these concerts are closely linked in content with the overall program.
Under the musical direction of Cordula Bürgi, the Cantando Admont ensemble presents works by renowned composers such as Beat Furrer, Orlando di Lasso, and Arvo Pärt.
The performers include Helena Sorokina, Marco Sala, Krassimir Sterev, Friederike Kühl, Hugo Paulsson Stove, Jan Petryka, Manuel Alcaraz Clemente, and Alexander Bauer.
