Salzburg Museum Weekend 2025
Experience an interactive program with tours and music at the DomQuartier Salzburg, which places the fascinating tapestries of the cathedral in the spotlight.
Under the motto "Future (Dream) Spaces in the Museum. New Perspectives for New Times," the DomQuartier offers a diverse program around the special exhibition "Paradise Lost. The Tapestries of Salzburg Cathedral."
Visitors can participate in themed tours that illuminate the creation of the tapestries or experience the exhibition interactively with their families. Children aged 6 and over can design their own tapestry concepts in the art lab.
Admission is free, no registration is required, and places are allocated on a "first-come-first-served" basis.
A musical highlight is a tour featuring music from Haydn's "The Creation" at 3 PM.
