Salzach galleries

The Salzach Galleries has opened its stands annually since the year 2000: On several weekends until the end of September, visitors have the opportunity to stroll along the banks of the Salzach and sample the colorful potpourri of art, culture and cuisine offered by around 600 exhibitors from around the world.
On weekends in summer, the Salzach Galleries invites visitors to enjoy and marvel. Between the Marko-Feingold-Steg and Müllnersteg bridges, hundreds of exhibitors from around the globe present their wares at Austria’s biggest open-air art bazaar.
The role model for this event was the Paris art bazaar on the banks of the River Seine, though the Salzach Galleries has long since established high standards of its own. People come and “talk shop” with artists and craftspeople, peek over the shoulders of painters and sculptors, and take the greatest of joy in beautiful unique pieces by jewelry designers and fashion creators. Also offered are delectable regional foods and international palate pleasers, adding even more “flavor” to the visit of as many as 50,000 guests daily. You are also invited to enjoy the magic of the Salzach Galleries and immerse yourself in this truly unique world!
