World of poisons
Experience live venomous animals up close and learn more about various toxins through displayed exhibits and informed presentations.
Presented in a stress-free and fact-based manner, the permanent exhibition (and the smallest zoo in Austria) "World of Poisons" conveys exciting and informative content about poisons in everyday life, nature, medicine, and world history. The aim of the exhibition is to provide knowledge about various poisons in an illustrative and entertaining way to all age groups.
As part of a one-hour guided tour, visitors can marvel at unknown and underestimated poisonous plants, native toxic mushrooms, and exotic live poisonous animals like scorpions, toads, and venomous snakes, including giant rattlesnakes, curious vipers, and lethally venomous taipans.
Visits only as part of a guided tour by prior arrangement! Minimum two participants.
