Stiftung Mozarteum - Villa Vicina
The Villa Vicina is adjacent to the headquarters of the International Mozarteum Foundation in the Schwarzstrasse. The new concert hall in this historicist-style villa (built in 1873) seats an audience of 125.
Since 2020, Villa Vicina [neighbouring manor] has been operated by the International Mozarteum Foundation as an exclusive event venue. With its arena-style seating, the hall provides a unique opportunity to experience performances up close, enhancing the sense of intimacy and intensity. This elegant environment is particularly suited to readings, workshops, and chamber music performances. A striking feature of the room is its wall art, which elegantly visualises the sound waves of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major, K. 622. The concert hall is complemented by a foyer with a bar area. In the warmer months, the building’s inner courtyard is perfect for breaks and standing receptions, further adding to the Villa Vicina’s charm as an extraordinary location.
