Mozarteum Foundation – Wiener Saal
The Wiener Saal, built in the Munich Jugendstil and Heimatstil, ranks among Salzburg's most distinguished venues. Located in the Schwarzstrasse, within the main building of the Stiftung Mozarteum, it offers an exceptional atmosphere for a range of occasions.
Named after the Vienna Mozart Society, which funded its design and the installation of its organ, the Wiener Saal is ideal for chamber concerts. It also serves as a refined backdrop for intimate dinners and small gatherings, with a capacity of up to 200 concertgoers or 90 dinner guests.
Recent additions, such as the newly completed Bastion Garden and the expansive Great Foyer (finished in 2022), provide even more opportunities for distinctive events in the heart of Salzburg.
