International Summer Academy of Fine Arts Salzburg
The International Summer Academy of Fine Arts Salzburg, founded in 1953 by Oskar Kokoschka as the "School of Seeing" at Hohensalzburg Fortress, is the oldest of its kind in Europe and unparalleled by any other institution. Two principles have remained true to the Summer Academy to this day: the internationality of the teachers and participants as well as the joint study of professional artists, art students, and art enthusiasts.
Intensive workshops on current issues in art production led by outstanding artists from around the world, lasting two to three weeks – this is what you can expect.
