Peter Breuer | European Ballet - Carmen | Bolero
Peter Breuer and the European Ballet St. Pölten present a double evening with 'Carmen' and 'Bolero'. 'Carmen', inspired by Prosper Mérimée's novella, deals with the themes of freedom, adventure, and passion as well as the proximity to death. The choreography is accompanied by the Carmen Suite by Rodion Shchedrin and the rhythms of Radio Tarifa.
'Bolero', based on Arthur Schnitzler's novella 'La Ronde', showcases the complexity of human relationships. The dancers convey the facets of love, desire, and disappointment through passionate choreography, creating an intense emotional experience.
