Since 2012, the Ouverture Spirituelle has dedicated itself to the centuries-old tradition of sacred music in the early days of the Salzburg Festival. In addition to a thematic focus, these concerts are closely connected in content with the overall program.
The vocal ensemble Vox Luminis interprets works by Giacomo Carissimi and Marc-Antoine Charpentier. In the impressive atmosphere of the Kollegienkirche, the theme of godliness is musically explored.
