Hop On Hop Off
You dictate the tempo! With a “Hop on Hop off” bus tour, you get to put together your own flexible sightseeing program.
Salzburg Sightseeing Tours offers several Hop on Hop off routes in the city of Salzburg. The “Hop on Hop off” concept is easy to explain: There are designated stops along the way, where you can get on and off the bus whenever you please. You decide where you’d like to spend a little bit longer and what sights you want to explore in greater depth.
The Yellow Line provides city tours of Salzburg as well as surrounding areas. The tour allows you to discover Mirabell Square, the Old City and the Festival District, to name but a few of the most popular sightseeing attractions. They also head out to Schloss Leopoldskron and Schloss Hellbrunn in the south of Salzburg. The Yellow Line makes twelve stops, offers an audio commentary in 13 languages (German, English, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Arabic), a kid's channel (German, English) and a “Sound of Music” audio commentary in English and Spanish.
The Blue Line takes you from Mirabellplatz in Salzburg via Hellbrunn palace and the Untersbergbahn cable car in St. Leonhard to the historic Old Town of Hallein, to the Salt Mines on the Dürnberg and on to Dokumentation Obersalzberg in Bavaria (the connecting bus to the Kehlsteinhaus must be booked separately), to the centre of Berchtesgaden, the Königssee and back to Salzburg via the Berchtesgaden Salt Mine. The Blue Line has 13 stops, an audio guide in 7 languages (German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, Arabic) and a kids' channel (German, English).
