Folklore Events

In Salzburg, traditions are celebrated year-round. From exuberant maypole raising and atmospheric Krampus runs to traditional dance events and the world-famous Jedermann, the city's customs are alive and well. The city's connection to its Alpine roots is reflected in numerous festivals and parades that are lively, urban, and accessible to all.
