The Casino Salzburg in Schloss Klessheim is an experience for everyone. In the magnificent rooms of this baroque gem, an extensive gaming offer, unique architecture, and exquisite culinary delights invite you to enjoy and linger.
In 1934, Salzburg gained an attraction: The Casino Salzburg opened its doors in the Mirabell Palace. Game enthusiasts from near and far were captivated by the magic of gaming, which is why the casino soon moved to the larger Café Restaurant Winkler on the Mönchsberg. In 1993, the gaming offer was expanded and the casino temporarily relocated to Klessheim Palace. Since the "temporary location" delighted guests so much, the decision was made to keep the casino there.
The Lustschloss Klessheim fascinates even on the way there. Passing perfectly supported bushes, visitors enter the unique garden complex, past the magnificent Triton fountain and the outer pedestals adorned with lying deer to the entrance. Salzburg owes the Klessheim Palace to Prince-Archbishop Johann Ernst Graf Thun and his architect Fischer von Erlach. Influenced by inspirations from Versailles, he was especially inspired by the Italian school. The spacious layout of the building, combined with baroque elements, makes the casino particularly attractive for guests from near and far.
Situated within the splendour of Baroque Klessheim Palace, Casino Salzburg invites guests to indulge in the thrill of international gaming, where the opportunity to win meets timeless elegance. To elevate your experience, Casino Salzburg offers a complimentary shuttle service, departing daily at hourly intervals from 18:30 onwards. This service transports guests from their chosen address within Salzburg to the casino, and from the casino to the city centre from 18:00. Reservations may be made from 11:00 by phone, with guests kindly asked to provide their name, mobile number, and preferred pick-up time and location: +43 662 854455 18888. Please note that the shuttle service cannot accommodate large groups due to limited capacity and is subject to availability.
The shuttle service is not available on 24th December (Christmas Eve) and 31st December (New Year’s Eve).
