Salzachsee lake - swimming lake Liefering
The recreational area in the north of Salzburg, the leisure facilities around the Liefering bathing pond offer an ideal place to swim, play sports and relax.
With a surface area of 22,000 m² and a maximum depth of 3 metres, the bathing pond is the smallest of the three Salzach ponds. It is supplied exclusively with groundwater. The spacious sunbathing areas around the lake offer space to relax as well as ample changing and facilities and cold showers.
There are two kiosks selling food and drink and a drinking fountain available.
On a total area of 90,000 m², the recreational area in the Liefering district of Salzburg offers a variety of leisure activities:
- beach volleyball
- basketball
- football
- children's playground with climbing nets, swings etc.
Out of consideration for other bathers, dogs are prohibited, as are fishing and stand-up paddling.
