Explore Salzburg on the Beer Tour
This tour of the city begins with the Gablerbräu in Linzergasse and the neighboring Münchnerhof at the end of the 14th century. At the end of Getreidegasse is the birthplace of what is probably Salzburg's most famous brewery, the Stiegl Brewery. The Augustiner Bräu in Mülln is a Mecca for beer lovers - the shady garden with the famous chestnut trees and the clay jugs make this the ideal place for a break. The rest of the way leads over the Mönchsberg, turning the route into a real hike. Whether as a bonus at the end of the walk or as a little extra round in between, the Stiegl Brauwelt, where the treasures of the city of beer culture are brought to life.
